"Perspectives – Art, Liver Diseases and Me" is a unique project that brought together patients affected by Hepatitis C and artists from countries all over the world to express the feelings and sentiment of living with a liver disease in an artistic way. I was selected from my home university JOANNEUM University of Applied Arts to represent them internationally. "Perspectives - Art, Liver Diseases and Me" was initiated by AbbVie, coordinated by the Valencia Polytechnic University and donated to EASL.
Referring to some anecdotes from the patient, I focused on the ignorance of the people and the confusion. Especially on story inspired me: He told us about a journalist, who wrote a article about him and mixed up HCV with HIV, which lead to big misunderstandings. There is this small letter in these abbreviations, that make a hugh difference. I planned some kind of a alphabet and play with the letters (HAV, HBV, HCV...).
